1) nObama already has it in the bag.
BUT
2) If he loses it's racism.
So which is it?

as much as people don't like to admit it, the truth is the truth. racism is still a factor in the states. it doesn't matter what race you pick. things are still somewhat divided, even if they are not as bad as they were 40 years ago, (thank God) people don't like to face it because they want to say "not me! i'm not a racist" but many of those people are racist, just not in mixed company.
case in point: my little sister thinks she is not a racist because she believes that all men are created equal. 5 minutes later she called me disgusting because she found out i once dated a black girl, an indian girl, and a cuban girl, as well as now being married to a japanese woman. for clarity's sake, i want to be clear that it wasn't all at the same time. but anyhow, alot of people are like my sister. they think they aren't racist, but they still have screwed up views.

Is there any difference in voting against someone because of their race, as opposed to voting for someone because of their race?

Yeah the same as there is a difference in voting for someone because they are qualified, vs voting for someone who's not and says he is. :horse1:

None whatsoever. The base motivations are the same.

It's not about race, ...it's about culture, ...mistakin' as race.
Clarence Thomas or Larry Elders would get elected in a walk, ...as long as the vote was a conservative majority.
Islamo-socialism and the rise of "Bling", ...and "paint the whitehouse black" are the issues polarizing the election.
Ps. Louis Farrakhan just gave a speech anointing Barry"O as the messiah, ...and that he will bring about WORLD change.
Change to what?...

People who are comfortable with race will vote whichever way they see fit. People to whom race matters will vote along racial lines. You'll never find out which way those to whom race mattered voted. They won't want to tell you, and they don't have to. :)
