The big story this morning on all Indianapolis news shows was about the extraordinary efforts of ACORN in that city. They were instrumental is getting 677,401 voters registered for this election.
For a major city to register 100% of it's voting eligible population is historic, but not content for simply historic, ACORN took Indy a step further. With a voting eligible population of only 644,197 people, Indianapolis is the first U.S. city in history to register 105% of it voters.
