A perfect demonstration of Why you can't believe Polls. CBSNYT has Obama in the lead by 14 points, they give a complete breakdown of people's opinions. The ONLY fact they omit telling you, is what party constitutes the majority of the participents polled. 50/50 is a poll, 60/40 is a joke.
I seriously doubt if CBS or the NYT is gonna close their doors, and fade into the mist if they guess wrong.

On the other hand, a smaller polling company, wants to have ability to predict correctly. As the % of correctness, is directly related to how high it's earning potential rises ;)
