If the population's electrical needs increase 1000 MW a year, yet Chavez only adds 350 MW a year, blackouts follow

In the U.S.A. partially due to the efforts of the Sierra Club, and enviornmentalists in general. We haven't built a New Nuclear Generating Plant in 30 years, and as the coal fired units wear out, they're Not being replaced.

Good Business for CANADA is generating electrical power up there, and via Outdated Transmission Lines supplying OUR power grid :mad:

dude- you totally don't want to depend on canada! our power goes out up here in toronto about once or twice a week, even if it's only for a few seconds.

That's your power grid, Not your Generating Capacity. BIG Difference.
The Power Plants that supply the USA, aren't connected to the Canadian Power Grid:)
