Lance Armstrong dissed by French Official

Could it be that some Frenchmen are simply pissed that Armstrong has won the Tour so many times? My understanding is that he's been tested a lot and nothing was ever found.

There was an excellent scene in a Russell Crowe movie. He was in France, driving one of those tiny "Le Cars". He's going down a country road and there is a group of French cyclists taking a break; they start pointing and laughing at his car.

He sticks his finger up through the sun roof and yells out, "Lance Armstrong".
